I have several folders containing videos with dual-language audio tracks. The default passed to ffmpeg sends the first audio track to Tivo. By adding a simple map argument to the ffmpeg_prams setting, I can force it to send the second audio track. But this is not the case with ALL of my videos. I only want to hear audio track #2 on the vids in certain folders. Otherwise I might end up hearing the Director's Commentary to Waterworld or some equally disturbing thing.
Right now we can specify ffmpeg_prams by Server and by Tivo, I believe. Is there any way to specify it by Share? Or plan to include that option in the future? I'd rather not have to change my conf file between vids or run 2 simultaneous instances of pyTivo...
I'd love to see this feature as well - though in my case it's a simple matter of video from different sources having different audio levels.
Most of my video has a low audio level so I added -vol 750 to my ffmpeg_params. But then when I hit a video that's got a normal audio level I get all sorts of distortion.
