Howdy all,
I'm not sure how many are acquainted with this script, since it's linked from the trac site, However, does it work in kubuntu or other debian based OS's ? The link , http://pytivo.armooo.net/wiki/initd . Just wondering if there's any feedback from users on this.
Thanks in advance

I wrote it and I use Debian Etch. It works just fine, but if a real Debian programer saw it I think he would complain. I don't think it is the "best" method to use, but I have never had any issues with it.

I compared the one I'm using on Ubuntu Gutsy to the one on the wiki. It looks like the only I changes I made were:
- change the cd line to the proper base path
- change the execution line (the wiki has python2.4, I just run pyTivo.py directly) _________________ pyTiVo on Ubuntu 8.10
