I have one TivoHD with cable cards and two S2 Tivos.

I would like to watch TivoHD downloaded HD content on S2 Tivos.

I have tried a bunch of settings in pyTivo but the video always comes over massively pixelated on the S2 Tivo.

Has anyone done this? What settings did you use?

You mean, TiVo HD -> TTG -> PC -> tivodecode -> pyTivo -> S2? Yeah, I've done that (except it was an S3 rather than a TiVo HD). No special settings, no problems, sorry. I haven't done it extensively though.

P.S. Or, were you trying to transfer a .TiVo file directly? That won't work -- you have to decrypt it to standard MPEG first so that ffmpeg can downconvert it for the S2.
