This one has me scratching my head....
My own DVD rips, with accompanying meta-file descriptors in a .meta subdirectory. I had two of them (both happen to be mp4's) that displayed with the red (no transferring) icon. The description was appended with "Transferring Prohibited By The Copyright Holder". I was able to make a minor alteration in the filenames, such as:

FirstKnight.mp4 to First-Knight.mp4 (and the metafiles too)

and the problem went away.

Huh??? Confused

I had a similar problem...I think it was wmcbrine who told me that it's just pytivo having trouble reading the file. My solution was the same for some weird reason, by just changing the name of the file. I really looked at it to see if there was something I was missing but I couldn't find it. Fortunately, it is rare.

Yeah that error means that ffmpeg is unable to read the file properly for some reason.

You can see the ffmpeg error by running:

Linux:
Code:
ffmpeg -i <filename>

Windows:
Code:
ffmpeg_mp2.exe -i <filename>

Running ffmpeg_mp2.exe -i showed no problems. The renamed files transfer & play just fine. Simply removing the space from the filename got rid of the problem. <shrug>

I had this problem back in January when wmcbrine first started using the CopyProtected flag for files that failed the ffmpeg test:

It eventually went away though.
