I think I found where you copied it from. It was an error in the instructions included in the Web Admin.

But still you should leave it blank.

Yeah, I corrected that typo a week or so ago. But it should be left blank.

Might not hurt if we rearrange the web help section to read like this so it's more clear. I can see where the help might be a bit confusing.

Code:
video_br

Required: No (leave blank except to override pytivo defalult)

pyTivo defaults to: 4096K for SD TiVo's, 8192K for HD TiVo's

Valid Entries: Any valid Bit rate. 1024K = 1Mi

Example Settings: 4096K, 8Mi, 12Mi

Skill: Advanced

Description: .................

Agree, sorry at times I just get too wrapped up in this and I fail to see how a new user will interpret things.

I know the documentation and such needs work, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Took out the line and we're up and going!

At first the picture quality was terrible, so I removed all the specific picture and frame rate settings and only left in the buffer size. Picture is back to HD and actually looks better on the 62" than the same movie using pyTivo on the XP side!

Barely using 7% CPU, so I'm guessing I can stream movies to several Tivo like before with no issues.

I really want to thank everyone that helped me out on this. I've been using the Windows version for a long time and had never experienced any issues whatsoever other than the sub folder thing....but I've always loved pyTivo.
